Hi, I’m Nicole

Welcome, I’m so glad you found me! My name is Nicole and I am a Christian doula serving the DFW area. I’m a wife and mother to three active boys. Originally from South Africa; my husband and I moved to McKinney when our eldest was only three months old.

As the Lord tells us in Psalm 127, that we as parents are blessed beyond measure with our quivers full of arrows. I love helping moms add to their quiver as they prepare to birth their own arrows.

My passion for helping birthing moms began out of my personal birthing stories. I was fortunate to give birth in three separate cities (including two different countries) and learned how beneficial and empowering it was to have excellent cheerleaders in my corner in my own labors.

My second son was born with many medical complications, but I was placed in the excellent care of skilled medical providers and supportive members of my birth team who would take the time to listen to my needs, support me in my wishes, and advise me with evidence-based research without resorting to fear tactics.

It was then I truly recognized the value in being heard as a mother so I listened to the Lord’s prompting, prayed over the decision and became a doula so that other mothers could have the same opportunities.

I want all my clients to feel empowered and confident about their pregnancies and upcoming births.

I want all my clients to feel that they are equipped to make calm, informed decisions that best suit them during their pregnancy and deliveries.

I love serving mamas during one of the most vulnerable, exhilarating and joyful times of their lives. I truly do consider it an honor.

When not serving families, you can find me outside chasing my boys, riding a bike, reading, building puzzles with the family, or crocheting.

One of my favorite pastimes is putting the kettle on every afternoon and welcoming friends for an afternoon cup of tea!
